well, humans in my world invented a shock collar that saps powers. that was *their* solution to the conflict. you know what i was doing before i showed up here? helping out a 17 year old forced to wear one of those collars 24/7. getting electrocuted every time his mutation acts up. forgive me if i dont give a shit about the lives of people who condone shit like that.

i don't need humans to like me. i don't need humans to like mutants. i just need them to understand they're sticking their hand in a bear trap by pissing off super-powered beings. that is what the violence is for.

You may think of humans however you like. But I am telling you that violence will never get you the peace nor the rights that your kind, mutants, so desperately want and deserve.
Violence only perpetuates pain and conflict; it does not help bring about a world where you and that young man you are caring for can live in peace.

I have seen and experienced all manners of varying timelines, and in none of them does going down this path ever lead to anything good, Dodger. Your drive and desire to help your people are commendable, inspiring even, but if you truly wanted to help them, this is not the way to go about it.
