Are you hungry? I don't mean for something like cake, either. I'm on my way home and wanted to reach you before I got back. I heard if you let yourself go without food, you can lose control.

[ Hunger, hm. Viktor wasn't typically one to ever be hungry enough to have it affect his work. Back home he had been in so much pain day in and day out that hunger was never really on his mind. But since this transformation his body is healthy again no longer plagued by indescribable pain and that burning sensation within his lungs. But this feeling, this...craving is beyond even his own perceptions of the word hunger.

Yes he was hungry but if he told Jayce that it would just keep him out longer. No. What he wanted was Jayce here...alone, with him. ]

Not particularly, no.

No? Are you sure?

[ He's not sure if he likes that answer if only because hunter was a part of what someone feels. He's still making his way back, but he can answer the messages slowly as he does. ]

I'm quite sure, Jayce. I just want to see you.

[ Perhaps that'll give him an appetite. ]

I want you to take care of yourself.

[ He's still coming home at least?? ]

You are one to talk about taking care of oneself.

[ Hm!! He's being cheeky, sorry Jayce!! ]

I hope you haven't overworked yourself again today.

[ As long as Viktor's fine, he's fine!! But with that, he'll walk through the front door of their house. He probably did overwork, so he'll do his best to not look it. ]

See, I'm home. I'm fine.

Mm. [ Viktor makes a noise in his throat as he looks up from his seat in the kitchen. The blinds are drawn throughout the entire cottage, which is rather peculiar since he often enjoys the scenery while he works.

The smile he gives Jayce has his slightly pointed fangs poking out from his mouth, but he still retains the use of his crutch even if he hardly needs it. A strange but not unwelcome development from these 'changes'. ]

Good. I was worried someone would get to you before me.

[ He sees those teeth, he's seen the posts, he's seen others. Viktor's words are not reassuring at all. And there's a little wariness in his steps forward into their home. He trusts Viktor, he knows the man would never hurt him on his own.

But he also knows he's changed and he doesn't want the other to do something he'll regret later. ]

Someone would get me? Viktor — no one even considered it.

[ Viktor's pout is evident at the wariness Jayce exudes before him. He doesn't move from his spot by the kitchen now, leaning on his crutch in an almost lazy way. ] Yes, Jayce, someone would want to bite you...draw out the blood from your veins because they are hungry.

[ He says with a breathy sigh. He does wonder...how Jayce's blood must taste. He's been thinking about it all day, in fact—very normal behavior. ]

But I am glad that you did not encounter any trouble. [ Says trouble himself as he finally walks towards the other, leaning into his space as a now cold hand rises to caress Jayce's cheek. ] I would have been disappointed if it were not me who was to do it first.

[ Said as he leans in, dangerously close to Jayce's neck now so much that Jayce will feel the brush of those teeth against his neck. ] You do smell exquisite today.

[ He is...trying his best not to lose control and outright bite the other. But he can hear the blood pulsating in Jayce's veins, and it's actually driving him crazy. ]

No one wanted to bite me, Viktor.

[ Maybe. He doesn't know. He's all too trusting. ]

Well, no one tried to bite me.

[ Really, that's the only way he knows. He's not a mindreader after all. His eyes lock on to Viktor, watching as he moves towards him. He thinks it makes sense to feel off about this whole thing, even with someone he trusts fully. He tries to will his body to relax.]

Viktor...

[ He shifts. ]

You shouldn't.

You could not have possibly known that, with the way you smell... [ He just lets out a soft 'ah' as he breathes in just a little bit. Just murmuring against his shoulder. He smells so good, and Viktor is trying his best not to do something they will both regret, but he can't help himself. ]

Then you must push me away, Jayce. I find that I might not be able to control myself otherwise.

I don't want to hurt you.

[ By pushing him away. Emotionally or physically. It's why he's protesting with words so he can give Viktor the chance to make the choice for himself. He seems to pull away a little bit. ]

I just want to know you're okay.

[ He wonders if Viktor can hear the way his heart is racing. ]

You could never hurt me, Jayce. Not like this.

[ He feels good, incredible even, the transformation is better than he could have imagined. He's a bit more insistent even as Jayce pulls away. Viktor moves in again to lick his neck, to taste him, and to hear the jackrabbiting of his heart in his veins. ]

Or maybe I would like it for you to hurt me. But I am always fine when you are with me.

[ Now those fangs come out pressing against Jayce's skin as Viktor bites gently but not enough to break skin, not yet at least. ] You will feel good, Jayce, like this. I want you to join me. Let me turn you, and together we can be partners even in this.

[ He is so hungry, but Jayce's answer will take precedence over anything else. ]

[ He wouldn't want to hurt Viktor even like this. Even if the man thinks he's going to be harder to hurt and kill. So the other even mentioning he may like that makes pause. He's quiet.

He barely flinches when the fangs touch his skin. After a few brief moments, he relaxes. Viktor respecting his wishes means a lot. But all he's really ever wanted was to have his partner back, as his partner. Which means he'd follow him into the nothingness if he has to. ]

Alright. I trust you.

[ Trusts that he will feel good. ]
